Working at Brookdale Health since 2008, physical therapist assistant Evan Gorton is dedicated to making you better. His physical therapy career got started when he worked at a healthcare facility during high school and spent some time getting to know the rehab team and saw what an impact they had on people’s lives. This is when he knew that is what he wanted to do, help people move, live and feel better! He received his Associates in applied science, PTA degree from Anoka Ramsey Coon Rapids Community College. You can usually find him in the fitness area, because here at Brookdale Health he specializes in exercise rehabilitation which also includes patient education.
In his spare time, he enjoys being outdoors (when it is warm) playing a number of sports with friends and family, working in his yard, or camping in the BWCA. On the weekends you may even see him riding his motorcycle!

Cora Schultz is a Physical Therapist Assistant here at Brookdale Health. She joined our team July 2018 after receiving her Associates in Applied Science for Physical Therapist Assistant. She graduated the spring of 2018 at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay, WI. She grew up playing athletics and knew she wanted to work in healthcare helping others feel their best. As a PTA she is educated in how to safely exercise when injured as well as perform hands on care to facilitate that healing process even quicker. After school she continued to take continuing education courses specializing in massage/manual therapy. Her favorite part about working here is having the ability to not only help patient’s in the gym with their exercises but to also perform massages in the massage department helping the patients recover with both active and passive care as they are equally important. Her hobbies include going to concerts, traveling, reading, running and watching sports… Go Pack Go!
