Brookdale Health has implemented telemedicine appointments to keep patient care accessible and safe.
Routines have changed and social distancing is important but so is your health. If you are not comfortable coming into the clinic for your treatment, call us and set up a telemedicine visit. Telemedicine visits allow you to follow through with your treatment plan by video with our doctors of chiropractic and/or physical therapy. Telemedicine allows you to:
Have your appointment and maintain your treatment plan from the comfort of your home or office, or wherever you need to be.
Talk to the chiropractor or physical therapist through your computer, tablet, or phone—they can see you and you can see them.
If you are in pain due to an auto injury, work comp injury, or just from your daily routine, our doctors of chiropractic and/or physical therapy are able to complete an evaluation via Telemedicine. Don’t delay getting care because you don’t want to leave the comfort of your home.
The appointment time is the same for a Telemedicine visit as it would be in person in the clinic. A typical physical therapy visit is 30 minutes. A new patient evaluation would also be approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
Yes—it is covered the same as if you were being seen in person.
The Patient Relations staff will schedule an appointment with you. All we need to set up the Telemedicine appointment is your email or text messaging number. On the day of your appointment, you will receive an email or text from the clinic with a link to a secure video call.
At the time of your appointment, click on the link and enter your name. You will then be prompted to allow access to your camera so that the doctor can see you. You will then see a message that tells you that you have been placed into a "virtual lobby" until the doctor starts the visit.
It’s as easy as that!
